Which pet photo works

• The face from the front, eyes visible, at the pet’s eye level rather than from above.
• Sharp and well lit. Fur detail goes first in a dark photo.
• One animal per photo. Crop out the other pets and the people.
• Dark-faced pets (black cats, black labs) need extra light, or the face turns into a dark blur.

Which seat to give the pet

Lead vocals is the classic: the big laugh close-up at 0:05 on a dog is the whole joke. Sax works for a second pet. In the back row a pet is small in the frame, so it reads less clearly.
